I offer a full range of psychotherapeutic services for individuals, families, and groups utilizing both short and long term therapy.

Whether you are seeking individual, couples, family, group, or organizational services, the process of ASSESSMENT will begin our work. The initial conversation is a two way communication offering us an opportunity to get to know one another, answer any questions, and to establish some initial goals for our work. Each client is unique and you can trust that you and your family will be treated with respect, thoughtfulness, common sense and perhaps most of all, OPTIMISM.

My clinical work is guided by understanding the importance of context, and how human psychological systems influence one another. I am sensitive to cultural issues and what impact they may have, consciously or non-consciously on our lives. The systems model I use is called Narrative or Social Constructionist and the focus is on both your problem and your competency. Systems therapy is a very powerful method of identifying and resolving conflicts regardless of whether it involves one or many persons in any given session. This method of identifying problematic issues has allowed me to facilitate successful outcomes with: marital conflicts, adolescent “acting-out” issues, excessive worrying, feelings of sadness and hopelessness, eating disorders, addictions and more.
